I try to write about three times per week. Most of it is pretty good and will probably help you grow your business. If it doesn't, then I probably can't help you.

You can use a traditional RSS Feedreader with this fancy-dancy link. I think this approach is harder but if you want to do it the hard way, who am I to say otherwise?

Total Possible Points: 100 per team member

Each team will be required to build a fully functioning website with the following minimum expectations:

  1. The website must contain at least five total pages.
  2. The home page must be design differently than than the internal pages with a clear call to action.
  3. You may choose to create a ficticious company/organization or choose a company/organization that could use a facelift.
  4. All of your content and imagery should be real and fit the design of the site (e.g. don't use lorem ipsum text)
  5. All links should work. E.g. if you use social media links, they need to go to real, live profiles. (for this reason, a real company/organization may be easier)
  6. Your design should reflect the brand of the company/organization. You may choose talk to the company/organization and get their feedback and donate the website to them in the end if they like it.
  7. You may not use a content management system. Your website should be built in HTML/CSS.
  8. You should not use a template. It should be designed from scratch. However, if there are snippets of code from online resources incorporated, feel free to use them... just comment in your code what you have used (source it)
  9. Recommended that the minimum included elements are home page, about page, services page(s) and contact page.

Elements not required but will get you great brownie points:

  1. Responsive mobile design
  2. Rotating presentation on home page
  3. Working contact form rather than just contact information.
  4. Live content such as a live Twitter feed.
